St. Mark’s Lutheran Church
Being the hands and feet of Jesus
What to Expect
Welcome! Whether you are brand new to church or you’ve been around church for a while, we want to say WELCOME! We are passionate about loving God and loving others. When you come to St. Mark’s, our hope is that you would feel loved and a sense of belonging. Each week we get together to worship and learn from God’s Word. Additionally, we see church as more than Sunday service. We desire to build relationships through engagement in our community, small groups, and a variety of volunteer opportunities and events.
-
St. Mark’s shares a parking lot with the St. Charles public library. Please feel free to utilize any of the parking lots on our property or near the library. Parking for those that are unable to take the stairs is located on the north end of the church. Inside these doors, there is an elevator located to the right of the stairs.
-
The front door is located on the east side of the church. Inside this door, there are stairs that go up to the narthex or down to the Sunday school area. There are other doors located on the north side of the building with access to our elevator.
-
We offer Sunday school for children during our education hour (9:45-10:45 AM). There is a children’s message during most Sunday services. We also have a nursery/cry room that is unstaffed at this time located up the stairs inside the front door. This room has a television that streams the service and a small restroom. Interested in our children’s ministry, contact our Director of Christian Education (Alex Brice).
-
We have volunteers who brew hot coffee for all to enjoy Sunday mornings. The coffee is located up the stairs inside the front door entrance.
-
We invite you to come as you are. All are welcome!
