nullD2MC Learning Community

Pastoral Leadership Institute’s (PLI) Discipleship to Missional Community Learning Community (D2MC) invites and challenges ordinary women and men to experience, live, and share a specific rhythm that can be repeated over and over again to help people become closer followers of Christ… and join with others to be a people on mission.

The Journey

  • Becoming a Discipling Leader – you cannot teach what you do not know and you cannot lead where you will not go.
  • Building a Discipling Culture – you reproduce who you already are.
  • Multiplying Missional Leaders – discipling leadership is more or less walking through the pits of life with grace, truth, and love.
  • Launching Missional Communities – an extended family on mission invites new people to join the challenge of God’s mission.
  • Leading Kingdom Movements – we celebrate the movement of God while we invite the number of people gathered around the campfire of passionate spirituality, radical community, and a missional zeal that looks more like Jesus than a business.

The Learning Community Experience

  • 5 – 3 to 4 day workshop/immersions over 2.5 years (twice a year – every six months or so)
  • You will leave with an actionable six-month plan to implement where you live, work, and play
  • A combination of instruction and interaction teaching tools and laying a foundation for building a culture of mission in your faith community
