Connecting and Equipping People

to Live to Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus

We believe that mission isn’t just going and serving others.
Mission is the unique way that God has gifted each of us to multiply the life of Jesus.
Mission is boldly going where the Holy Spirit leads. Mission is living our lives as a reflection of grace that Jesus has already given to us.
We want to connect people to God’s mission and equip them to live it where they live, work, and play.

That’s a big vision. This is our future. Jesus calls us His disciples. At St. Mark’s, a disciple is someone who experiences the welcome and love of God and leads people to the radically generous life of Jesus Christ.

God loves the all people of the world (including, you!). He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly. No matter what you’ve done and no matter where you’ve been, God’s good news of His forgiveness is yours!

By Jesus suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for every man, woman, and child… you! The Holy Spirit supernaturally creates faith when we hear this good news.

The Bible is God’s Word which reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. Grounded in the Scriptures, our lives are rooted and immersed in the promises of Jesus.

Everyone Gets to Play

Every woman, man, and child participates in welcoming and loving people like Jesus and leading them to the radically generous life of Jesus.
St. Mark’s is a member of a network of ministries called, The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.  To learn more about them go to LCMS.ORG

For more than 2,000 years people have asked this question.
We were not present when Jesus lived on this earth, but in the Bible we have the story of His birth, life, death on the cross, and resurrection, for you.
No one else has influenced history as Jesus has.

Jesus is the Son of God. Old Testament prophets spoke of His coming and described the eternal and life-changing impact He would have.

Jesus is both God and man. He stilled the seas and walked on water. With a touch of His hand, He cured incurable diseases. He restored life to those who had physically died.

Jesus personifies love. He paid the ultimate price so that we could live with Him forever. He sees us through the eyes of love.

He loves us in spite of every hurtful thought, every harmful word, and every wrongful action. These are all a result of sin, which contaminates everything we do. It is behind every broken home, every empty life, every infirmity, every damaged emotion, every sorrow and grief. And as the Bible says, the end result of sin is death (Rom. 6:23). But Jesus Himself was sinless; only He could pay the penalty for our sins.

Because of his love, He suffered, died, and rose again.

We are forgiven. All who believe in Jesus are guaranteed eternal life with Him in heaven.

Why did Jesus do this? Because Jesus is love.
